About STDCT

The Sustainable Tropical Data Centre Testbed (STDCT) is Singapore’s first tropical data centre testbed, established to accelerate the development, validation and adoption of sustainable, energy-efficient and resilient data centre technologies for hot and humid climates.

Located at the National University of Singapore (NUS), STDCT is an open, technology- and operator-agnostic innovation hub bringing together data centre operators, technology providers, industry partners, academia and government agencies.

The 500-kW living laboratory enables industry partners to test, benchmark, validate and de-risk next-generation solutions under real operating conditions—bridging the gap between technology innovation and commercial deployment.

Highlight Ongoing Projects: In accordance with confidentiality and operational requirements, visits may include curated segments showcasing selected ongoing research and test-bedding initiatives at STDCT, without disrupting facility operations.
STDCT Guided Tours: As STDCT is an operational facility, all visitors must be accompanied by designated personnel throughout the visit and may access only approved areas to ensure safety, security, and uninterrupted facility operations.
