Asia-ISAC Invites Organisations Across Asia to Take Part in Regional Study on AI Adoption
Asia-ISAC is calling on organisations across Asia to take part in a regional study on how businesses are adopting AI, where the readiness gaps are, and what secure adoption requires. This release covers why the study matters, three themes from the August launch roundtable, and how to participate before the 15 November 2026 deadline.
Asia-ISAC is calling on organisations across Asia to participate in Mapping AI Adoption Across Industries in Asia, a regional study on how businesses are adopting AI, where the readiness gaps are, and what secure adoption requires. The study covers organisations across industries in Asia, and will be published as the AI Readiness Industry Report in Q1 2027.
Global AI adoption reports are widely available, but few reflect the regulatory environments, talent realities, and threat landscapes specific to Asian markets. The study is designed to give boards, CISOs, and technology leaders a regional benchmark they can act on.
What the launch roundtable told us
The study was launched at an executive roundtable in Singapore on 11 August 2026, co-hosted with ACFE. Three themes stood out from the discussion:
- AI is already delivering value. Participants described practical gains in fraud investigations, security operations and incident response, software development, and everyday productivity through tools such as Microsoft 365 Copilot.
- Readiness is an organisational challenge, not only a technology one. Fragmented experimentation, duplicated initiatives, and unclear strategy are holding back enterprise adoption more than the tools themselves.
- Trust will decide how far AI goes. Both under-trust and over-trust were flagged as risks. Human validation, clear guardrails, and governance that enables rather than blocks innovation were seen as essential to adopting AI securely at scale.
"The roundtable made one thing clear: the organisations that succeed with AI will not be the ones that adopt fastest, but the ones that learn fastest and validate deliberately," said James Cruz, Founder and President of Asia-ISAC. "This study gives Asia a shared picture of where we stand, and the more organisations take part, the more useful that picture becomes."
How to participate
The survey takes about 5 minutes and is open to organisations of all sizes until 15 November 2026. Participants receive a complimentary copy of the full report. Take the survey at https://www.asia-isac.org/mapping-ai-adoption.
