The in-process weld monitoring module is built on a coaxial, high-precision, non-contact principle and forms a serialised pre-weld, in-weld and post-weld solution; it monitors welding power, height, defects and the full process in real time, detecting 12 defect types and storing process data for individual traceability. The weld penetration depth detection module applies OCT to directly measure molten-pool keyhole depth, eliminating missed detection with an overkill rate within 1%, and provides specific penetration values that can be re-verified after the fact to drive quality improvement.
