Midea Building Technologies to Showcase Full-Stack AIDC Cooling Solutions at Data Centre World Asia 2026, Launching Industry Whitepaper on Power-Cooling Hyper-Converged Architecture

MIDEA Stand: T10

As AI workloads push rack densities beyond 600kW, traditional power and cooling architectures are reaching their limits. Midea Building Technologies (MBT) will address this challenge head-on at Data Centre World Asia 2026 (September 29–30, Marina Bay Sands, Singapore), showcasing its full-stack AIDC cooling solutions alongside the industry launch of a groundbreaking whitepaper on power-cooling hyper-converged architecture.

Full-Stack AIDC Cooling Solutions on Display

At the heart of MBT’s showcase are three flagship products engineered for next-generation AI data centers:

Maglev Active CDU – This product adopts an integrated and innovative architecture, combining the magnetic bearing cooling source and the distribution unit into one unit, reducing floor space by more than 80%. Under tropical climate conditions, it helps achieve a system PUE below 1.2, while effectively cutting delivery time and operating costs.

Next‑Generation Air‑Cooled Magnetic Cearing Chiller – Designed for water‑scarce and high‑temperature environments, this product maintains high energy efficiency under high temperature conditions, offering stable and reliable operation with low performance degradation.

Industrial‑Grade CDU – With a cooling capacity of 2,600 kW (at 3K ΔT), it supports high‑availability architecture design to meet the higher requirements for safety, stability, and continuous operation in high‑density computing scenarios.

Whitepaper Launch: Trends in Power-Cooling Hyper-Converged Architecture for AI Factories

MBT will unveil a joint whitepaper with Clou Electronics (from Midea Group) at the show. The whitepaper presents an end-to-end architecture that unifies power, energy storage, magnetic-bearing chillers, and liquid cooling CDUs into a single hyper-converged system built for next-generation zero-carbon AI data centers. With rack densities racing toward 600kW, the framework addresses the critical challenge of integrating electrical and thermal systems to reduce complexity, future-proof capacity planning, and de-risk the path to AI factory density.

Project Showcase: Gui’an Midea Cloud Data Center – A Model of Collaboration

MBT will also feature the Gui’an Midea Cloud Data Center project, developed in partnership with Keppel. Located in Guian New Area, China, the project leverages MBT’s HVAC equipment and elevator systems alongside Keppel’s digital platform, demonstrating how integrated power-cooling solutions can deliver measurable energy efficiency and operational reliability. The project serves as a reference model for sustainable, high-density data center development in the region.
