Plainbit obtains Cyber Essential Certifications and CSRO License in Singapore, Expands Regional Presence

Plainbit announced that it has obtained the “Cyber Essentials” certification and the “Managed Security Operations Centre (MSOC)” license from CSA.

With these achievements, Plainbit is now officially authorized to provide threat monitoring and incident response services to both public institutions and private companies in Singapore—an important milestone that lays the foundation for full-scale market expansion in the region.

Since establishing a local subsidiary in Singapore last year, Plainbit has supported incident response for Korean companies operating in Southeast Asia as well as Southeast Asian firms doing business in Korea.

Beom Jin Kim, Head of Plainbit Singapore, commented, “This certification and license mark a critical turning point for expanding in the local market. In particular, we are preparing to register as the first Korean company offering ‘CISO-as-a-service’ for SMEs in Singapore, and we plan to actively support the enhancement of their security capabilities.”

Meanwhile, Plainbit is expanding partnerships with DFIR (Digital Forensics and Incident Response) firms in key Asian regions such as Singapore, Taiwan, Indonesia, and Hong Kong. The company is in the process of obataining ISO 27001 certification and plans to accelerate its security incident response operations across Asia.
