Safous, NTT DOCOMO BUSINESS, and IIJ Japan Unveil Integrated Zero Trust Solution for Cyber-Physical Systems
TOKYO — July 9, 2025 — NTT DOCOMO BUSINESS, Inc. (formerly NTT Communications Corporation) and Internet Initiative Japan (IIJ), in collaboration with Safous, announced an integrated cybersecurity offering designed to strengthen the protection of industrial and critical infrastructure systems.
As industries expand remote operations, many OT and CPS administrators face increasing challenges in maintaining secure access and real-time visibility over complex environments. This new solution brings together OsecT’s passive traffic analysis and Safous’ agentless Zero Trust access control, providing a cohesive approach to detecting anomalies, securing maintenance activities, and managing vendor access — all from a single platform.
he integrated solution combines OsecT’s OT-aware intrusion detection with Safous Industrial Secure Remote Access (I-SRA) to deliver full-spectrum protection for operational networks.
OsecT passively monitors OT traffic, automatically inventories devices, and flags abnormal activity or unauthorized communication. Meanwhile, Safous I-SRA establishes encrypted, least-privilege tunnels for engineers, integrators, and vendors; enforces multi-factor authentication (MFA) and approval workflows; and records every session for audit readiness.
Together, these technologies allow enterprises to gain unified visibility, govern privileged access, and respond to incidents faster — meeting the security demands of IEC 62443, NIST, and ISO/IEC 27001 compliance frameworks.
Sales will commence on September 1, 2025 in Japan through NTT DOCOMO BUSINESS, with ASEAN availability expected in 2026 to support regional smart manufacturing and industrial cybersecurity initiatives.
