Seoul Attracts Hong Kong Companies to Boost Foreign Direct Investment
On Tue, Jun. 11, Seoul hosts Seoul Forward in Hong Kong, with 100 global companies in attendance, and signs MOUs with three companies to help them establish their presence in Seoul

The Seoul Metropolitan Government (SMG) held a business attraction briefing session, Seoul Forward, on Tue, Jun. 11 at the Hotel Alexandra in Hong Kong to attract global companies and talents and place Seoul among the world’s top five global cities.
At the event, the benefits of expanding to Seoul were explained to 100 global and local companies based in Hong Kong. An MOU signing ceremony was also held with three promising companies* interested in entering Seoul.
* Qstem (company developing hair follicle regeneration drugs based on induced pluripotent stem cells), APOP (direct circuit and AI chip design solutions provider for high-performance computing), Quantbit (generative AI solutions company for producing text to images and videos)
The three companies that signed the MOU will receive comprehensive support for their successful expansion through Invest Seoul’s All-in-one Support, which includes market research, corporate establishment, management support on labor and legal affairs, and office leases.
The SMG plans to continue actively identifying and attracting global companies willing to expand into Seoul.
