SKB’s Oversized Fire-rated Steel Door is engineered for large access openings that extend beyond conventional fire-door dimensions. Available in configurations of up to 3,600 mm in width or 3,800 mm in height, the system supports the movement of equipment while maintaining the required fire compartmentation strategy.

The solution includes SKB’s world-first four-hour insulated fire steel door, developed to provide extended fire resistance and thermal insulation. The fire-door range has been tested in accordance with recognised standards, including BS 476 Part 22 and MS 1073 Part 3.

For applications requiring a shutter-based system, SKB’s Insulated Fire Shutter provides a separate fire-protection solution for large openings. Its space-efficient configuration makes it suitable for areas where conventional side-hinged doors may be impractical.
