The SKB F100DA Double-Wall High-Speed Roller Shutter can be engineered for openings of up to 12,000 mm wide and 20,000 mm high. Its reinforced double-wall aluminium curtain provides greater strength and enhanced protection against forced impact, making it suitable for sensitive facilities and applications where additional security or riot protection may be required.

For temperature-controlled environments, the F100DAT configuration incorporates an insulated thermal barrier to reduce heat transfer through large openings. This helps data centres maintain more stable internal conditions, reduce unnecessary cooling demand and potentially lower ongoing cooling costs.

Depending on project requirements, the shutter can operate at speeds of 100, 300 or 500 mm per second and can be designed to withstand wind speeds ranging from 100 to 220 km/h. It also offers sound insulation of up to 32 dB and enhanced airtightness for weather-exposed or environmentally controlled areas.

The range is available with transparent vision panels and an anti-sandstorm configuration. Greaseless guide rails, anti-friction endlocks and an air-seal bottom bar help reduce operating noise, improve sealing and support long-term reliability.

Integrated safety options include obstruction detection, light curtain sensors, infrared sensors and LED traffic lights. The shutter may also be configured to close automatically upon receiving a 24 VDC fire signal, supporting integration with a facility’s wider safety-control system.
