The Macrochip 800G OSFP DR8 optical transceiver is designed for use in 800-gigabit Ethernet links up to 500 m over single-mode fiber. It integrates 8 data lanes in each direction with an 8×106Gb/s PAM4 data rate, each lane operating on a 1310 nm wavelength. The product is compliant with IEEE 802.3ck 800GAUI-8. Digital diagnostics functions are available via the I2C interface, as specified by the CMIS 5.0.
