Absorption Heat Pumps

WORLD ENERGY Stand: Y02

World Energy’s absorption heat pump is an energy-saving system that can produce hot or chilled water by utilizing waste heat or low-grade heat sources from industrial processes

A Type 1 absorption heat pump absorbs the heat energy of a low-temperature source in the evaporator using a high-temperature driving heat source (steam, hot water, gas, etc.), and releases it to the high-temperature source through the condenser and absorber
A direct-fired absorption heat pump uses city gas or oil as fuel, and the attached burner in the regenerator directly heats the system, allowing it to operate like a conventional boiler even without waste heat

A Type 2 absorption heat pump (absorption heat transformer) receives medium-temperature heat, converts part of it to high-temperature heat and part to low-temperature heat, and can utilize waste heat to produce hot water for building heating, domestic hot water, or industrial processes
A two-stage absorption heat pump can recover low-temperature heat sources such as treated wastewater to heat water, and when the driving temperature is high, a dual-effect configuration can improve the COP

All absorption heat pumps are equipped with automatic absorbent concentration control and high-efficiency heat exchangers to ensure stable operation and performance, and they can use various heat sources, making them suitable for industrial sites, processes, and building heating applications
