A leading BPO company in the Philippines operates mission-critical contact centers, IT facilities, and data centers across Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao. With 24/7 operations and strict SLAs, reliable power protection and rapid fault response are essential to maintaining business continuity.

As the company expanded nationwide, its fragmented multi-vendor UPS environment created challenges in maintenance, spare-parts management, scalability, and fault response. The client required a standardized UPS platform that could provide high reliability, modular scalability, N+1 redundancy, and cost-effective operation across diverse site environments.

Since 2017, Touchcore Solutions Inc., the authorized Riello UPS distributor in the Philippines, has partnered with the client to address these requirements. Following a comprehensive evaluation, the Riello MPX Modular UPS Series was selected as the standardized power protection platform across the client’s nationwide estate.

The Riello MPX is a three-phase online double-conversion modular UPS designed for mission-critical applications. Its hot-swappable power modules enable capacity expansion as site loads grow, without requiring complete system replacement. N+1 configurations provide redundancy and eliminate single points of failure, while common and interchangeable modules and spare parts simplify maintenance across multiple locations.

We provided end-to-end design, supply, installation, and commissioning, with more than 50 Riello UPS systems deployed across 40+ sites and data centers throughout the Philippines.

The standardized Riello solution has delivered uninterrupted 24/7 power protection, reduced Mean Time to Repair (MTTR), simplified spare-parts management, and provided scalable infrastructure for continued business expansion. Factory visits to the Riello UPS manufacturing facility in Italy further strengthened the client’s confidence in product quality, testing processes, and engineering capabilities.

This project demonstrates how Riello modular UPS technology provides reliable, scalable, and cost-effective power protection for large, distributed BPO and data centre environments.
