CETCI ESH Hydrogen Detection System for Critical Battery Safety
The CETCI ESH Hydrogen Detection System is an intelligent gas detection solution designed to provide continuous hydrogen monitoring in UPS battery rooms and lead-acid battery charging areas within mission-critical facilities such as data centres. During battery charging, hydrogen gas may accumulate and create a significant fire and explosion hazard. The ESH system continuously monitors hydrogen concentration and provides early warning before dangerous levels are reached, allowing timely corrective actions.
The system is equipped with configurable audible and visual alarms, relay outputs for automatic exhaust fan interlock, and Building Management System (BMS) integration for centralized monitoring and remote alarm notification. By maintaining a safe battery room environment, the ESH Hydrogen Detection System helps protect personnel, ensures compliance with industry safety standards, minimises downtime, and supports reliable, uninterrupted data centre operations.
