WASP W-FLC Series Magnetic Fuel Conditioners
Engine breakdowns and degraded performance are frequently caused by biological growth—commonly known as the "diesel bug"—and sludge accumulation in fuel systems. Traditional chemical biocides can harm engine gaskets, degrade seals, and cause fuel oxidation that leads to sediment formation. The WASP W-FLC Fuel Conditioner range provides a chemical-free, environmentally safe solution that protects your entire fuel delivery network.
How It Works Installed on the suction side of the fuel line prior to the primary filter/water separator, the W-FLC conditions fuel as it flows through high-strength magnetic fields (utilising up to 9,000-gauss rare-earth neodymium cores). This process:
- Neutralises Bacteria: Prevents live micro-organisms from multiplying and colonising the fuel system.
- Improves Filter Performance: Alters the biomass structure so that pre-filters and water separators can isolate and drain significantly more contaminants.
- Extends Filter Life: Prevents premature element clogging, lowering maintenance expenses and reducing replacement filter consumption.
- Continuous System Conditioning: Capitalises on engine fuel recirculation loops to continuously clean fuel stored inside the main tank.
Key Features & Advantages
- No Power Required: Operates inline passively without electrical connections.
- Bidirectional Flow: Flexible installation design accommodates fuel moving in either direction.
- Self-Cleaning Design: Requires virtually no maintenance beyond periodic checks of the magnetic core to wipe off trapped ferrous particles.
- Robust Construction: Manufactured using marine-grade anodised 6061 aluminium (W-FLC-1502/2502) or 304/316 stainless steel housings for heavy industrial environments.
- Safe for Engine Components: Eliminates the risk of seal degradation or corrosive damage caused by harsh chemical additives.
