INTREPID™ MicroFiber provides continuous, real-time perimeter intrusion detection for data centres, critical infrastructure, and other high-security environments. Using Distributed Acoustic Sensing (DAS) technology, MicroFiber continuously monitors activity along fibre-optic cable, providing precise detection and location of activity across extended perimeter boundaries. Intelligent analytics classify events including fence climbs and cuts, walking or running, and vehicle movement, while distinguishing security events from environmental activity.

MicroFiber supports fence, wall, and buried applications using standard fibre-optic cable. With no distributed perimeter power, communication repeaters, or field electronics required, the system simplifies infrastructure and deployment across long distances. Single- and dual-fibre configurations provide flexibility for different site requirements.

The INTREPID™ MicroFiber family includes Command, providing coverage up to 20 km, and Sentinel, extending coverage up to 130 km. MicroFiber integrates with VMS, ONVIF®, and other security platforms, providing flexibility across a range of system architectures.
