The SST is a high-frequency power converter converting medium/highvoltage (10-35kV) directly to 800VDC, delivering superior efficiencyovertraditional distribution.The operating frequency of SST ranges from tens to hundreds ofkilohertz (kHz), much higher than the 50/60 Hz of LFT. SST can activelyregulate voltage, compensate for reactive power, filter harmonics, andeven control bidirectional energy flow. SST replaces the cumbersomecopper coils with advanced chips, reducing the occupied area of thepower supply system by more than half, thus freeing up valuable spacefor core equipment.
