In-Process Weld Monitoring Module
The In-Process Weld Monitoring Module is a self-developed quality-control technology built on a coaxial design principle for high-precision, non-contact measurement. Developed for laser welding process-monitoring scenarios, it forms a serialised product and total solution covering the pre-weld, in-weld and post-weld stages. It monitors laser welding power, height, defects and the entire process in real time, detecting 12 defect types — including incomplete fusion, blowholes, spatter and weld misalignment — and flagging issues the instant they appear, eliminating post-process rework.
Process data is stored in real time, enabling individual traceability of every weld and strengthening overall process control while reducing quality incidents. The device is compact and non-intrusive, compatible with galvanometer, collimated and ring-spot laser heads, and integrates into existing production lines without major retrofit. It is applied in liquid cooling component and AI compute cabinet production, and also serves power battery, automotive electronics and consumer electronics manufacturing for weld quality management.
