The SKB Insulated Fire Shutter (IFS) and SKB Oversized Fire-Rated Steel Door are designed to provide fire separation and secure access for large openings. The SKB IFS comprises insulated fire-rated panels, guide assemblies, support structures and a motorised operating mechanism. It provides fire resistance and thermal insulation while allowing controlled operation. Where applicable, it can interface with the building fire alarm system for automatic closing during a fire emergency. The SKB Oversized Fire-Rated Steel Door comprises a fire-rated steel door leaf, reinforced frame, hinges, door closer and associated fire-rated ironmongery. It is engineered for large openings while maintaining the required fire-rated performance. Both systems are suitable for data centres, industrial and commercial facilities.
