Far East Communication Co., Ltd. was founded in 2018 with a registered capital of RMB 420 million. It is a holding subsidiary of Far East Smart Energy Co., Ltd. (abbreviated as Far East Co., Ltd., Stock Code: 600869).

Amid the boom of AIDC computing power and the golden opportunity of rising volume and price in the global optical communication industry, relying on forward-looking strategy, self-controllable integrated industry chain and rapid capacity expansion, the company has become a distinctive strategic pioneer in the AIDC optical communication track. Its core competitiveness can be summarized into five strengths: fully committed to the AIDC all-optical interconnection track; self-R&D and self-production of the entire preform-fiber-cable industry chain; outstanding first-mover advantage in hollow-core optical fiber; large-scale certification by the world’s leading CSP clients; and rapid capacity expansion at home and abroad.

The overall investment of the optical preform, optical fiber and optical cable integrated industry chain project totals RMB 3.72 billion, with a planned land area of 452 mu. Upon full completion, the project will have an annual production capacity of 2,000 tons of optical preforms, 60 million core-kilometers of optical fibers and 60 million core-kilometers of optical cables. The first phase of the project involves a total investment of approximately RMB 1.66 billion. Upon completion and operation, it can produce 600 tons of optical preforms, 20 million core-kilometers of optical fibers and 20 million core-kilometers of optical cables annually.

The company focuses on the R&D, manufacturing and sales of G.652, G.657 and ultra-low-loss large-effective-area G.654 optical preforms, as well as various types of optical cable products. The preform production adopts the industry-leading VAD+OVD process, featuring stable production performance, high raw material utilization, high production efficiency and superior optical fiber parameters. The optical fiber drawing equipment supports high drawing speed and is equipped with low-loss fiber drawing technology, enabling the manufactured optical fibers to reach the industry-leading level of low-loss performance.

In the field of special optical fibers, the company focuses on diversified fiber demands for AIDC scenarios. It is capable of mass supplying high-performance products including hollow-core fibers (O-band / C+L-band), multi-core fibers (customizable core count and refractive index profile), multi-mode fibers (OM1/OM2/OM3/OM4/OM5), and polarization-maintaining fibers (1310nm/1550nm for communication devices).

In optical cable production, the company strictly controls raw material quality and technological processes, adopting advanced manufacturing platforms and testing equipment to deliver stable and reliable products. Adhering to a customer-oriented philosophy, the company can customize optical cable products and overall solutions according to client requirements to create greater value for customers.

The company’s domestic headquarters is located at No.1 Huayuan Road, Gaocheng Town, Yixing City, Jiangsu Province. It has also established an overseas production base in Thailand, serving as the Southeast Asian regional headquarters responsible for local production, sales and localized services, forming an integrated layout of domestic R&D + overseas manufacturing + global sales.

Domestically, centered on the Yixing base, the business covers national telecom operators, power systems, data centers and government & enterprise clients, providing full-scenario optical communication solutions. Internationally, with the Thailand base as the pivot, the company radiates the Southeast Asian market, focusing on serving local data centers, communication operators and other clients, and supporting the development of regional digital infrastructure.
