Taipei Computer Association (TCA), established in 1974, is the leading industrial organization in Taiwan. Its 4,000 members engage in various segments of the information communication technology (ICT) industry—including software, hardware, semiconductors and components, manufacturing, sales, and network communication services—thereby generating over 80% of the total production value of Taiwan’s ICT industry. With offices in Taipei, Taichung, Kaohsiung, and overseas in China, Japan, and India, TCA plays a vital role in driving industry growth.

As part of its efforts to advance Taiwan’s AI capabilities, TCA hosts the World AI Vision Exhibition (WAVE), an annual event that gathers industry leaders, innovators, and experts worldwide to showcase AI advancements and foster international collaboration. Building on WAVE and other initiatives, TCA continues to strengthen Taiwan’s position in the global AI ecosystem by hosting impactful events and fostering international collaboration within the industry.

Under TCA’s umbrella, the Taiwan AI Alliance was established in June 2023 to focus on international AI development trends, promote AI 2.0, and support digital transformation across multiple sectors with the goal of building a smart nation that is resilient both socially and industrially.
