Alex, Chen Peng is the General Manager of APAC at Daqo International, leading the company’s strategic expansion across Asia Pacific with a primary focus on data center power infrastructure, Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS), and integrated electrical solutions. Since assuming the role in July 2026, he has established Daqo’s Singapore regional headquarters and is driving key growth initiatives, including market entry and the development of high-performing local teams to strengthen Daqo’s presence across the region. With extensive experience in the power sector, he previously held senior sales leadership positions at TMC Transformers and GE Grid Solutions, where he specialized in transformers, switchgear, and critical infrastructure projects across APAC, the Middle East and Africa. He also contributed to major substation projects at Alstom Grid in Southeast Asia. Alex holds a master’s degree in electrical engineering from INSA de Lyon, France, and is fluent in English, French, and Mandarin Chinese.
