Andrea Er is a Software Engineer at GovTech's Smart City Technology Division, specialising in designing scalable data infrastructure and AI-driven solutions for urban intelligence systems. She has been a key contributor to the development of the Open Digital Platform (ODP), the core operating system behind Singapore's Punggol Digital District. Andrea's technical expertise spans machine learning, computer vision, large language models (LLMs), and vision-language models (VLMs). Her work focuses on designing systems that transform raw data into actionable insights, building robust data pipelines with monitoring capabilities, and enabling data-driven decision-making in smart city operations. Andrea holds a Master's degree in Artificial Intelligence and is passionate about mentoring aspiring tech professionals. She believes in the responsible deployment of AI to create practical solutions that address real-world urban challenges.
