Datuk Ts. Mahadhir Aziz is the Director of Patient Capital at Johor Corporation and Group Managing Director of Johor Capital Group, where he leads strategic investments that accelerate Johor's next economy through patient capital, digital infrastructure and ecosystem development. With nearly 30 years of experience across technology, investment and public policy, he previously served as CEO of MDEC, driving the Malaysia Digital initiative that attracted approximately RM170 billion in digital investments. He also co-founded Futurise and established Malaysia's National Regulatory Sandbox. Datuk Mahadhir currently serves as Chairman of the Data Centre Industry Association of Malaysia and holds board positions across organisations in infrastructure, technology and talent development. He is widely recognised for his expertise in digital infrastructure, AI readiness, sustainable economic development and public-private partnerships.
