Saji carries about 30 years of industry experience and started his career with a public sector research organization under Department of Electronics, Government of India. He also handed various CxO level positions in organizations like Sify, Airtel and Tata Communications in India. In his last assignment with Tata Communications, Saji was the Global Vice President, responsible for delivery & Operations of global Cloud and Data Center services. Data Centre Services includes all Data Center & Digital Infrastructure and Cyber Security Services in Tata Communications and was heading a team of about 500+ technology professionals spread across the globe with diversified backgrounds with more than 10 nationalities in a multi-culture environment. He had spent extensive time in large Data Center infrastructure roll-out and creating & delivering highly scalable, application-aware services supporting a range of hosted applications that will deliver clear business value to a range of enterprise vertical segments. He has significant experience in creating various usage & cloud based delivery models and also brings in strong general management skills. Saji joined Amazon Web Services (AWS) in Sept 2019 and is currently responsible for AWS Data centers and technology infrastructure operations for APMEA ( Asia Pacific Japan, China, Middle East & Africa). In this role, he is responsible for safety, security, availability and capacity delivery of DC infrastructure across multiple regions in these countries.
