Dr. Wesley Poh is a Senior AI Engineer with Infineon Technologies, Singapore, operating within the Automotive Division. His work is focused on deploying Edge AI to automotive battery systems to drive the next generation of smart, sustainable mobility. His current work lies at the intersection of data-driven intelligence, real-time power analytics, and system-level control. Dr. Poh has a broad interest in many areas of machine learning and, beyond intelligent automotive architectures, has made contributions to data-driven methods for battery prognostics, the design of smart power converters, and the control of self-powered dynamic systems. Prolific in his academic contributions, he has published 13 research papers during his postgraduate career—serving as the primary author on 11 of them; and to date, he has been honoured with 9 research awards for his innovations spanning AI and engineering. Many of his research outcomes have been applied in practice and licensed to the industry. Dr. Poh completed his PhD in Electrical and Electronic Engineering at Nanyang Technological University, Singapore, specialising in Applied AI and Energy Storage Systems. He also holds an MPhil in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from Newcastle University, UK, and a BEng in Electrical Power Engineering from the Singapore Institute of Technology.
