Gregg Charalambous brings over two decades of expertise in the data centre industry, with a proven track record in strategy, site selection, design, delivery, master planning, and network infrastructure. At Bridge Data Centres, he leads initiatives that span the full lifecycle of hyperscale data centre development.
Prior to Bridge Data Centres, Gregg spent more than 10 years at Microsoft, where he played a pivotal role in the design and planning in APAC, Europe and AMER. His work supported both traditional compute workloads and emerging technologies, including OpenAI infrastructure. His contributions helped shape Microsoft’s global data centre footprint and network architecture.
Earlier in his career, Gregg was Technical Director at AECOM Consulting Engineers. There, he led ICT design and construction projects for AECOM clients across the Asia-Pacific region, while also contributing to global best practices in ICT design. One standout achievement was being part of the award-winning team behind the King Khalid Medical City in Dammam, Saudi Arabia—a landmark USD 3.8 billion healthcare complex that earned the Best Futuristic Hospital Design award in 2013. Gregg’s career reflects a deep commitment to innovation, sustainability, and operational excellence in digital infrastructure, making him a key leader in the evolving landscape of data centre development.
