A visionary leader, Guillermo has a strong passion for digital transformation and innovation. He has more than 20 years' experience in large multinational companies, including Amazon and Cisco, where he held a range of senior roles that spanned business, technology, and operations. Prior to joining Standard Chartered, Guillermo was the Chief Technology & Operations Officer for Wealth Management & Insurance at Banco Santander. He has also worked with large enterprises as well as start-ups to drive agility, scalability, efficiency, customer focus and cost savings. His passion for entrepreneurship and innovation has led him to build his own start-ups and invest in a few. He has an ongoing collaboration with Vicen' Ferrer (India) since 2012 within a Non-Governmental Organization (NGO). Guillermo holds a Bachelor of Science in Telecommunications from La Salle, Ramon Llull University.
