Jason leads global AI Research and Responsible AI under the Chief AI Officer, partnering with business and technology stakeholders. He oversees AI capabilities across NLP, computer vision, machine learning, and generative AI, guiding research and capability development in a fast-changing environment. At MSD, he co-authored the AI policy and leads AI ethics & governance, AI regulatory & stewardship, and technical AI trust & safety teams. Jason contributes to national AI initiatives in Singapore—helping shape skills frameworks, governance guidance, and the AI Ethics and Governance Body of Knowledge—and serves as VP of the AI & Robotics Chapter of the Singapore Computer Society and as a Singapore representative to the Global Partnership on AI. He co-founded Lauretta.io and mentors local AI startups.
