Mahathir Said is the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of TM Nxera, leading the development of a next-generation hyperscale data centre in Iskandar Puteri, Johor. Prior to this, he served as Vice President of Data Centre at TM, where he played a key role in expanding TM’s national data centre footprint and shaping its strategic direction in digital infrastructure. With over 20 years of experience in IT operations, enterprise infrastructure and cloud services, he has delivered large scale projects including SAP rollouts, data centre migrations and cloud transformations. He also held leadership roles at TM One and Credence (TM Digital Innovation), driving digital transformation initiatives across public and private sectors. A graduate of Imperial College London, Mahathir has also completed executive education programs at Oxford, IMD and Cranfield, combining strategic foresight with deep operational expertise in the APAC data center landscape.
