Mark is a highly experienced communications and public affairs practitioner. Over the last decade, he has focused on developing and implementing communications and public affairs strategies for clients in fintech, cloud computing, cyber security, Web3, AI, and clean technology. Before joining Sandpiper, Mark co-founded a consultancy in Asia Pacific that provided communications guidance for start-ups in the tech landscape, held senior positions with APCO Worldwide in Indonesia and the UAE, and drove the public affairs output of Fleishman Hillard in China. He began his 18-year career working in political communications in the European Parliament and as a political adviser in UK politics, where he led political strategy during critical electoral cycles.  Areas of expertise: Issue and crisis management, policy communications, advocacy campaigns, government relations, content development, political engagement, and media relations.
