Michael Giannou is global general manager of data centers for Honeywell Building Automation (BA). He is an accomplished global sales executive with extensive experience building, training, and mentoring high-performance sales teams driving multi-million-dollar revenue channels and sales programs for Fortune 500 companies. A sought-after change agent, he has a track record of successes overhauling underperforming programs, teams, and markets to establish leading sales organizations within world-renowned technology organizations. He is growth-minded and a strategic leader with a passion for developing successful enterprise sales professionals within a collaborative, fast-paced, competitive environment. Michael has over 15 years of experience in dealing with various technologies supporting data center customers globally. During his first three years at Honeywell, Michael has built and leads a global sales team supporting Honeywell’s largest customers for Building Automation. His sales teams were instrumental is driving double digit growth into data center customers, and he is now tasked with building the Data Center vertical for Honeywell, globally encompassing sales, marketing, product development and operations. Before joining Honeywell Michael was a sales director with Schneider Electric, accountable for the largest Hyperscaler and Colocation providers in the United States. He increased division sales from $70M to more than $350M in six years. His sales and engineering teams became trusted advisors to these key customers.
