Mingcheng is Country Head, Singapore at ST Telemedia Global Data Centres (STT GDC). He is responsible for the P&L of the Singapore business, which includes asset management, commercial & operational matters. Prior to his current appointment, Mingcheng spent the past eight years covering a wide breadth of roles, including asset management, investments and data centre operation at STT GDC. Notably, he has played an instrumental role in driving the acquisition of Tata Communications’ data centre business in India and Singapore. Mingcheng has also co-led the operational transition of the Tata Communications’ Singapore data centre business post-acquisition. He also implemented a comprehensive global portfolio metrics reporting framework for the company. Before joining STT GDC, Mingcheng has eight years of experience across corporate finance, corporate development and infrastructure consulting roles. Mingcheng holds a Bachelor of Science in Engineering, with a specialisation in Industrial & Operations Engineering, from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor. Mingcheng has also passed the CFA Exam Level III.
