Nicholas Chia is the Chief Executive Officer of Aolani, leading regional strategy, platform delivery, and expansion across Southeast Asia. He oversees Aolani’s AI infrastructure platform, driving data centre capacity, GPU cluster deployment, institutional fundraising, and strategic partnerships. With over 20 years of experience spanning capital markets and digital infrastructure, Nicholas began his career at Citi before holding senior leadership roles at Standard Chartered, OCBC, and CLSA. He subsequently led digital infrastructure investments and data centre platform developments at firms including Verdnex Data Centers and Racks Central, commercialising multiple ventures from inception through to successful outcomes. At Aolani, he collaborates with tech partners, financial institutions, and investors to build next-generation AI infrastructure across the region. He holds a BSc in Mathematics and Business from Queen Mary University of London and completed the Program for Leadership Development at Harvard Business School.
