Palaniappan Muthuraman is the Managing Director of Piller Power Singapore Pte. Ltd. (PPS), the regional headquarters for Piller's operations across Asia. He leads the company's business strategy and operations throughout Southeast Asia, Korea, China, Taiwan, and Japan. Since joining Piller in 2014, Palaniappan has been instrumental in expanding the adoption of Piller's highly reliable IP Bus and mission-critical power solutions across the region's data center and other critical industries. He is currently focused on strengthening Piller's market presence in Asia while expanding the Power Solutions portfolio of Langley Holdings plc to address the evolving needs of hyperscale and AI data centers. Under his leadership, Piller works closely with customers to develop innovative power strategies, including behind-the-meter power solutions, AI-ready power infrastructure, grid-independent power systems, and technologies that enhance power quality, resiliency, and operational efficiency for next-generation AI data centers. Prior to joining Piller, Palaniappan accumulated more than 20 years of experience in the electrical and power industries, holding positions with global organizations including ABB, Fuji Electric, and Yaskawa Electric. He holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) and a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, combining deep technical expertise with strong business leadership to drive innovation in critical power infrastructure.
