Patrik Farkas leads Wärtsilä's Market Development team across the Middle East and Asia. Based in Dubai, he focuses on identifying and advancing opportunities for flexible gas-fired power plants, while also tracking the fast-growing off-grid data centre market. Over the past decade, Patrik has built his career across the natural gas, LNG, and energy sectors. He started at the Central-Eastern European Gas Exchange before moving to Houston to join Westwood Energy Group, where he worked on oil, gas, and LNG projects. He later joined MVM Group, helping establish the company's LNG trading business and negotiating its first LNG framework agreements.
