Paul Datta, a Tech Lead in the APAC AppEco practice for Gemini Code Assist, is dedicated to developing and implementing cutting-edge AI solutions. His primary focus is on leading Gemini CLI & Gemini Code Assist’s efforts in the region. He has 18 years of industry experience. Prior to joining Google, Paul was a Cloud Solution Architect at Microsoft, where he developed solutions and pilots based on Azure and incubated use cases for Azure Open AI. Before that, he was the Head of Digital Workplace APAC at Tata Consultancy Services, where he spent 15 years in various roles, including Technical Architect. During his time at Tata, he also conducted research on employee networks and collaboration as a Research Scholar at Yale University.
