Prasanna Sarambale is CEO – Data Center business at Sterling and Wilson Private Limited, a Shapoorji Pallonji Group company. Prasanna joined Sterling and Wilson in 2008 and was instrumental in setting up the Data Center business. Under his leadership, the team has successfully executed 21 Data Centers accumulating to 50 MW IT Load across geographies and for clients ranging from Captive (Telcos, BFSI), Colos, Hyperscalers, Central & State Governments. An ardent leader, Prasanna has over 28 years of extensive experience across industries. His leadership capabilities ensures that Sterling and Wilson is the preferred partner of choice for customers’ data center requirements. Before joining Sterling and Wilson, Prasanna was engaged with APC-MGE as the Director for Sales – Client Relationship for India & SAARC region. He began his career as a Sales Engineer with Kirloskar Computers and moved on to work with Tata Liebert, IBM, and Emerson. To promote business relations between India and other countries, Prasanna chaired several CII council delegations and played a pivotal role as Chairman, CII Data Center Committee in Data Center policy framework with state and central governments. Prasanna has extensive knowledge and network across DC industry for successful development and end-to-end delivery of DC projects. Prasanna lives in Mumbai with his wife and daughter, and enjoys music, reading and angling in his free time.
