Dr. Eng. Said Mirza Pahlevi holds Bachelor’s, Master’s, and Doctoral degrees in Electronics and Information Science from leading universities in Japan. Following the completion of his doctorate, he built a distinguished early career in Japan as a Senior Research Scientist at the National Institute of Advanced Industrial Science and Technology (AIST), where he spent five years conducting research in Grid Computing and Semantic Web technologies. Returning to Indonesia, Dr. Said brought his expertise into public service, dedicating 12 years to Statistics Indonesia (BPS), where he made significant contributions to the development of national statistical information systems and databases. He subsequently served as Head of the Data and Information Centre at the Ministry of Social Affairs, where he played an instrumental role in shaping Indonesia’s integrated social welfare data and information infrastructure. Since 2021, Dr. Said has served as Head of Centre at BPSDM Komdigi — Indonesia’s Ministry of Communication and Digital Affairs — leading national initiatives in digital human resource development. In this capacity, he has been the principal architect of Indonesia’s national digital training platform and the driving force behind the AI Talent Factory (AITF) programme, a flagship initiative designed to cultivate AI practitioners at scale through structured collaboration between government, academia, and industry.
