Sharanne Au is a seasoned tax leader in the oil and gas industry. She is currently the Global Head of LNG Tax – East & West at Shell and will be seconded to Infineum as Head of Global Tax, effective 1 September 2025. Infineum is a world leader in specialty chemicals, formed as a joint venture between Shell and ExxonMobil, specializing in high-performance additives for fuels and lubricants. Sharanne brings extensive experience in international tax, transfer pricing, and advocating for sound tax policy. Over the years, she has held various senior tax positions, working with diverse teams and managing complex, material tax matters across multiple jurisdictions and business lines. Her expertise spans business partnering, stakeholder engagement, and leading strategic initiatives, including OECD Base Erosion & Profit Shifting (BEPS) and tax digitalization projects. Sharanne holds an Advanced Diploma in International Tax from the Chartered Institute of Taxation (UK) and is an Accredited Tax Advisor with the Singapore Chartered Tax Professionals.
