Digital Team Lead, Israel National Digital Agency
Sharone leads the governmental taskforce dedicated to digital transformation in local government in Israel. This taskforce is an inter-ministerial collaboration between the Ministry of Interior and the Israel National Digital Agency. In her previous role as a "digital leader" for Digital Israel within the Ministry of Interior, Sharone held the pivotal responsibility of overseeing the digital transformation initiatives pertinent to the Ministry's interaction with local government. During the period spanning from 2015 to 2018, Sharone assumed leadership of the Bloomberg Philanthropies Jerusalem's innovation team. In this role, she provided senior advisory guidance to the mayor and city executive management, focusing on tackling strategic urban challenges. These challenges encompassed areas such as at-risk youth, education, civil society, economic development, creative public space, elderly care, and more. Commencing in 2010, Sharone transitioned into a senior strategic organizational consultant position at Points9, a subsidiary of the Lotem Strategies Group. She managed the public sector division of the company, contributing her expertise to drive organizational improvements and innovations within public sector entities. Between 2004 and 2009, Sharone led the private customers unit at Deltathree, a company specializing in VoIP services for the business sector. In this role, she assumed responsibility for overseeing customer service, technical support, and sales teams in both Israel and India. Sharone's academic accomplishments include a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Administration and Psychology, a Master of Arts degree in Organizational Sociology, and the successful completion of her doctoral research on the subject of "Models of Innovation in Cities" within the Department of Sociology and Anthropology at the Hebrew University.
