Lee Yoong Kin is the Chief Operating Officer of Singtel Digital InfraCo and Nxera. In Nxera, he oversees Product & Platform development, standardization and GTM support activities. He also drives operational excellence across its growing portfolio of regional data centres and is responsible for establishing and standardising its regional data centre operations to ensure consistent operating standards and best practices. With more than 30 years of leadership experience in the data centre and ICT industries, Yoong Kin has extensive expertise spanning business operations, P&L management, product strategy, business development, sales and large-scale project execution. He has led businesses across multiple markets in Asia, including Indonesia, Malaysia, Vietnam, the Philippines, Thailand, China and Hong Kong. Prior to joining Singtel, Yoong Kin was Senior Vice President and Group Managing Director of the Enterprise Business Group at TeleChoice International, where he was responsible for the business' strategic direction, profitability and growth. Before that, he was the first Managing Director of Equinix Singapore Pte Ltd, which he co-founded in 1999. Earlier in his career, he established ST Teleport Pte Ltd (a subsidiary of ST Telemedia) in 1994, serving as its General Manager and Board Member. Yoong Kin holds a Bachelor of Engineering (First Class Honours) in Electrical & Electronic Engineering and a Master of Business Administration from the National University of Singapore.
