Surajit Chatterjee is Managing Director and Head of Data Centre at CapitaLand Investment (CLI), where he has built and led the company's India data centre platform from inception to a planned capacity of 245MW across the country's key digital infrastructure hubs. Under his leadership, CapitaLand has deployed one of the largest liquid-cooled data centre infrastructures in the region, a benchmark for highdensity, energy-efficient design that is increasingly relevant in the age of AI workloads. Surajit also serves on CapitaLand's global Data Centre Steering Committee, where he holds joint global leadership responsibilities, contributing to strategy and governance across the platform's international portfolio while continuing to drive India operations. A recognised voice in India's digital infrastructure sector, Surajit has been Co-Chairperson of the ASSOCHAM National Council on Data Centres since 2024. His advocacy spans sustainable design, advanced cooling technologies, and resilient infrastructure frameworks, areas he has championed both within CapitaLand and across the broader industry. He brings over 27 years of experience across IT, telecom, and infrastructure, having held senior roles at Sify Technologies, Tata Communications, ST Telemedia, Tulip Telecom, and HCL. Surajit holds an MBA in Marketing Management from Delhi University (AICTE) and is an alumnus of the General Management Programme at IIM Indore.
