Valerie Choy is the Renewable Energy Lead at Amazon Web Services (AWS) for the Asia-Pacific region. In this role, she is responsible for overseeing Amazon’s renewable energy procurement efforts in APAC. Before joining AWS, Valerie led Schneider Electric’s Renewable Energy and Carbon Advisory services in Southeast and East Asia, helping corporate renewable energy buyers implement their 100% renewable energy goals through offsite power purchase agreements (PPAs) and other instruments. Valerie has an MBA from INSEAD and a Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering from the National University of Singapore.
