Verghese Jacob oversees strategy and direction for data center technologies at DayOne Data Centers as SVP Technology. He has spent his career at the cutting edge of the telecommunications and data center industries, working with both established and startup companies. He is at the forefront of leading design, technology integration, and multi-billion dollar program rollouts. With hands-on practical experience in site due diligence, design development, customer technical negotiations, technology selection, procurement, construction management, commissioning, and handover to operations, he has delivered several hundred megawatts of data center capacity for co-location providers. His work supports major customers including AWS, Microsoft, and Oracle. Prior to joining DayOne, he served as Chief Technology Officer for DCI Data Centers and was a member of the executive leadership team, reporting to the board. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Adelaide University and an Executive Certificate in Cybersecurity from Harvard University.
