Dr. Williams L. Harrison (“Luddy”) has had a diverse career that spans academia, technology, and music. He has bachelor’s degrees and a Ph.D. in Computer Science from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, where he was subsequently appointed to the faculty. Luddy holds a number of patents related to compilers and computer architecture. He founded Connected Components Corporation, which provided compilers to numerous silicon vendors. CCC was ultimately purchased by Intel, where Luddy managed compiler teams in Shanghai. He presently leads Air Technology in Bangkok, which offers the Coreograph platform and custom development services for the cloud.
