Dr. Yuhui Yao, a Group Chief Data Officer at FWD, is a visionary leader with over 20 years of experience in data and AI. Holding a Ph.D. in Artificial Intelligence with 15 research papers and 4 patents, Dr. Yao has spearheaded FWD's transformation into a data-driven organisation. He leads a strong multidisciplinary data team, leveraging AI to optimise the insurance value chain from customer acquisition to fraud detection. Under his guidance, the team has earned over 30 prestigious industry awards, including "Celent Model Insurer" and "Digital CX Awards" solidifying FWD's position as an insurance AI innovator in the APAC region.
