Buddy is OCBC's internal AI chatbot designed to enhance employee productivity by leveraging advanced search capabilities and generative AI technologies. Integrated with the OCBC intranet, Buddy can swiftly answer questions related to internal policies and documents within seconds.   In addition to general inquiries, Buddy offers over 20 specialized AI assistants, including tools for document querying, translation, money laundering case analysis (Hawk Eyes), letter and email drafting, reasoning support, speech to text and more. Some of these assistants utilize intelligent agents to deliver advanced functionalities.   Importantly, Buddy operates using in-house AI models hosted on-premises, ensuring that all confidential information remains securely within OCBC’s infrastructure.
