How Communities Drive Organizational Change: Unlocking Collective Intelligence for Digital Transformation

09 Oct 2025
Main Stage
The key to successful digital transformation lies not only in cutting-edge technologies or innovative policies, but in building cultures of connection, trust, and co-creation. At the heart of this lies the power of communities—bringing people together across organizations, sectors, and borders to share knowledge, solve problems, and spark change.

This keynote will draw on real-world examples from Japan’s Digital Agency to explore how community-driven approaches are reshaping public organizations from within. It will highlight how cross-organizational dialogue among those in similar roles—sharing common challenges and aspirations—can become a powerful engine for mutual growth, learning, and innovation. When people with parallel responsibilities come together, even across countries or institutions, they often discover that they are not alone—and that solutions are more accessible when developed collectively.

The session will also touch on the role of AI-enabled knowledge management tools in fostering agile, self-directed teams, and how public and private actors are collaborating to build communities that can accelerate innovation at scale.

Key Topics:
•     How communities influence leadership, culture, and organizational agility
•     Peer-to-peer learning as a model for shared growth
