There is no doubt that artificial intelligence (AI)/machine learning (ML) data centres are critical infrastructure. The stakes are exceptionally high: as AI and ML applications become increasingly central to economic competitiveness and national security, the infrastructure supporting these capabilities must be rapidly deployable and uncompromisingly safe. The revamped UL 2755 standard provides the critical safety framework that will enable the next decade of technological and economic leadership while safeguarding public safety and national infrastructure resilience.
