The primary threat stems not from frontier models, but from jailbroken, open-weight models capable of orchestrating autonomous attacks. To address this widening security gap, we should have an "AI harness" layered over Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR). This system automates the triage process by correlating telemetry to clear false positives instantly, while ensuring a mandatory "human-in-the-loop" escalation for actual threats. Furthermore, having visibility into unauthorized "Shadow AI" usage before enforcing strict security policies.
